Title: Music and Its Identity in Ancient Egypt

ABSTRACT
Background: This research dealt with everything related to music in the era of the ancient Egyptians. Aim: To shed light on the beginning and diversity of various musical instruments throughout the eras of the ancient Egyptian state, as well as the most important aspects of musical life, while giving a brief overview of the political aspect, the role of women in musical life, and the great role of priests in preserving musical identity. Results: This research reached an analysis of the musical and imaginative path of the melodic and technical development of music, instruments, and playing them. Our research shows the significance of the presence of different music tools and equipment in the ancient Egypt civilization with paramount significance in the daily life and formal events. Conclusion: Praise for the important role of the ancient Egyptian state for its interest in finding a method of recording, which allowed us to learn about the existence of musical instruments such as eras. The present study also give attention to the need for various specializations to come together to perform more studies and deeper discoveries in this field that have a great implication on the Egyptian culture and heritage.
